Les collaborateurs CHARIER fiers de planter des arbres, avec leurs enfants
Réduire sa consommation et agir pour la planète. L’entreprise familiale de travaux publics CHARIER, mène ces deux objectifs de front avec WeNow. Depuis mai 2018, 500 collaborateurs CHARIER ont adopté l’écoconduite grâce au dispositif connecté WeNow. Une démarche qui a généré 17 % d’économies de carburant, en moins de 6 mois. Et qui se concrétise par la plantation de 5230 arbres dans les forêts de Mervent (85) et des Landes de Lanvaux (56). Plus concret encore, les collaborateurs sont venus aider à la plantation le 8 décembre dernier avec leurs enfants. Retour d’expérience d’Emmanuelle Marteil et Aurélien Gautier, salariés de l’entreprise CHARIER.
Bonjour Emmanuelle, Bonjour Aurélien. Vous conduisez avec WeNow depuis mai 2018. Avez-vous observé un changement de comportement ? Des économies ?
Emmanuelle Marteil : « Depuis que je roule avec WeNow j’ai réduit ma consommation de 8 à 10 %. J’ai appris à conduire de manière plus souple. Et suis plus détendue sur la route.
Etant Responsable RSE chez CHARIER, j’étais déjà sensible à l’impact carbone de ma voiture. Mais avec WeNow j’ai beaucoup appris. Notamment à accélérer plus franchement pour ne pas surcharger le moteur, mieux gérer les rapports de vitesses, à anticiper les freinages… ».
Aurélien Gautier : « De mon côté, au bout de quelques semaines, j’ai pris conscience de ma conduite et mis en application les conseils du « coach écoconduite » que nous pouvons visionner sur notre téléphone. J’ai notamment appris à adapter ma conduite selon les contextes et les types de trajet. WeNow donne des conseils dont on a besoin pour adopter les bons gestes au quotidien. Je peux suivre mes économies de carburant grâce aux rapports que WeNow nous envoie par mail.
Je suis aussi très attentif à ne pas baisser dans le classement, et à rester en-dessous de la 150e place sur 500. Ça devient même un « challenge » entre nous au sein de l’agence. »
En roulant avec WeNow vous sentez-vous impliqués dans la stratégie RSE de CHARIER ?
Emmanuelle : « Tout à fait. La mission de WeNow s’intègre parfaitement dans notre stratégie RSE. Aussi bien concernant le changement de comportement que sur le suivi de la consommation. L’application est très utile pour transmettre les messages aux salariés et montrer le bon exemple.
Aurélien : « Oui, je trouve l’idée de WeNow très pertinente. Quand Constant Charier, qui porte le projet en interne, nous a présenté les résultats, j’ai été impressionné. 17 % d’économies, rien que cela, c’est un impact positif de taille !
Qu’est-ce qui vous a donné envie de participer à cette session de plantation dans la forêt de Lanvaux ?
Emmanuelle : « En tant que responsable RSE, c’était pour moi une évidence. J’y suis allée avec ma fille de 13 ans. C’était une belle occasion de la sensibiliser aux économies d’énergie, au rejet de CO2 des voitures et à l’impact environnemental que cela représente sur le long terme.
Aurélien : « Depuis le lancement du projet on nous avait annoncé l’organisation de sessions de plantations d’arbres en forêt. Je suis marié et père de trois enfants qui ont 14, 12 et 5 ans. A la maison, tout le monde a adhéré et nous nous sommes inscrits rapidement.
Vos enfants sont-ils sensibles aux enjeux environnementaux ?
Emmanuelle : « C’est un sujet dont on parle beaucoup. A la maison on regarde régulièrement des documentaires sur le réchauffement climatique. Et ses conséquences. Récemment nous avons regardé le reportage de Céline Cousteau, « L’aventure continue », qui part dans les quatre coins du monde pour mettre en lumière l’évolution des écosystèmes et les personnes qui s’activent pour préserver la planète. C’est une manière de faire prendre conscience à ma fille de l’impact des gestes d’aujourd’hui sur le monde de demain. A l’école, elle y est aussi très sensibilisée. »
Aurélien : « A la maison on essaie de les sensibiliser au quotidien sur les enjeux écologiques. L’école les sensibilise aussi avec des actions concrètes. Par groupe, ils doivent proposer des actions concrètes comme ramasser des déchets, ou éviter le gaspillage à la cantine par exemple.
Le fait de les faire participer à la matinée de plantation était totalement raccord avec la sensibilisation réalisée par l’école grâce à cette action concrète. »
Vos enfants ont-ils apprécié la matinée de plantation ?
Emmanuelle : « Ma fille était ravie de planter des arbres ! L’ambiance de la session de plantation était très conviviale. Elle en a d’ailleurs reparlé à la maison. Elle a apprécié le côté concret et ludique.
Nous en avons profité de la préparation de cette interview pour discuter ensemble de l’importance de planter des arbres, notamment sur la parcelle de Lanvaux qui avait été envahie par un insecte comme nous l’expliquait l’ONF. Ça l’a rendu fière d’agir ».
Aurélien : « Les enfants ont été très attentifs aussi à l’histoire de la plantation racontée par les responsables de l’ONF. Ils étaient contents de planter LEURS arbres. Mon fils de 5 ans, nous a d’ailleurs dit qu’il faudra revenir sur la parcelle pour vérifier comment les arbres grandissent. Mes 3 enfants nous ont raconté que ça les a rendus fiers, utiles et responsables.
Et ce malgré le temps pluvieux La motivation était au rendez-vous car nous avons aussi découvert cette forêt domaniale que nous ne connaissions pas (nous sommes adeptes de randonnées). »
Un mot pour la fin ?
Emmanuelle : « Cela donne envie de recommencer ! Surtout si les plantations se déroulent près de chez nous. La proximité et l’aspect concret de la plantation, ça a beaucoup d’impact sur le changement positif. Le concept de WeNow très intéressant. Car cela touche au comportement mais aussi à l’intérêt économique. En tant que responsable RSE je peux vous garantir que parler de RSE avec un retour sur investissement est compliqué. WeNow nous prouve qu’il est possible d’allier les deux.
Je parle beaucoup du projet autour de moi. On me demande même « Où est-ce que je peux télécharger l’application ? ».
Aurélien : « Je serais ravi de participer à d’autres sessions de plantation… Nous avons planté 200 arbres en une matinée, malgré la pluie. J’ai notamment apprécié le fait de pouvoir ramener 2 arbres avec nous. J’en ai donc planté un dans mon jardin, et un autre à notre agence de La Turballe. Toute la famille est repartie en ayant le sentiment d’avoir fait une bonne action pour l’environnement.
Ce serait super que la prochaine fois nous soyons plus nombreux à participer !
