Carbon footprint & CSRD reporting

Measure, report, and commit to a real low-carbon trajectory

WeNow helps you produce reliable emissions data for your CSRD reporting, run your carbon footprint assessment, and structure your climate strategy. Starting with your fleet, and beyond mobility alone.

Reporting

CSRD reporting stands on reliable data

The CSRD directive requires precise, verifiable emissions reporting. Too often, those figures rest on averages. WeNow provides measured, time-stamped, traceable data, starting with your fleet, the first source of direct emissions for many companies.

We provide the reliable data; writing the report and auditing it remain the responsibility of your company and its statutory auditor. To go further, read our article on CSRD reporting of fleet emissions (article in French).

Method

Measured data, not average factors

The GHG Protocol distinguishes two approaches for mobile combustion: distance multiplied by an average factor, or real fuel consumption. The second is more reliable: CO2 emitted is directly proportional to the fuel actually burned. An average factor misses driving style, real loads, cold starts, and plug-in hybrids that never get plugged in. Measuring real consumption, vehicle by vehicle, means measuring emissions instead of estimating them, with time-stamped data that stands up to verification.

Expert support

Our experts support you at every step

From measurement to strategy, our experts support each stage of your climate journey.

Your carbon footprint

Carbon footprint assessment using a recognised methodology: emissions measured across scopes 1, 2 and 3, with results directly usable for your reporting and your action plan.

Your ACT journey

Support for an ACT (Assessing low-Carbon Transition) process, led by our ACT-certified consultant. Developed by ADEME, the French environment agency, ACT assesses how well your strategy aligns with a low-carbon trajectory and structures your transition plan.

Our training know-how

Beyond mobility: tailor-made training

WeNow has been training and engaging people for over a decade, and that know-how is not limited to mobility. We design tailor-made training content on the full range of environmental topics, climate, waste, sufficiency, biodiversity, adapted to your business and your teams. You have an environmental challenge to bring your people on board with? We build the course.

Credibility

Proof, not promises

B Corp certified (third renewal in July 2025, independent audit)Mission-driven company (société à mission, French PACTE Act)Qualiopi-certified training organisation (French training quality certification), 100% complianceMore than 280,000 people engaged459,191 tonnes of CO2 avoided, reduced or offset (closed at 31 December 2025)

Offsetting & planting

Working with reference partners in voluntary offsetting

When offsetting makes sense, as a complement to reduction, we rely on reference partners and certified projects, for verifiable results and no greenwashing.

Office National des Forêts (French national forestry office)

Since 2018, more than 140,000 trees planted in public forests. With the ONF, WeNow developed the first carbon offsetting project in public forests certified by the French state (Label Bas Carbone), a guarantee of reliability. (Link in French.)

United Nations: Climate Neutral Now

WeNow is a member of the United Nations Climate Neutral Now initiative, which commits organisations to measuring, reducing and then offsetting their emissions. (Link in French.)

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about CSRD reporting

Does WeNow perform the CSRD audit of my fleet?

No. WeNow provides reliable emissions data, measured vehicle by vehicle. Writing the report and auditing it remain the responsibility of your company and its statutory auditor or independent third party.

Which emission scopes does fleet data cover?

Vehicles owned or controlled by the company fall under Scope 1 (direct combustion). Business travel in employees’ own vehicles falls under Scope 3. WeNow measures these emissions from real consumption.

What is the ACT process, and who supports it?

ACT (Assessing low-Carbon Transition) is a method for assessing low-carbon trajectories, developed by ADEME, the French environment agency. Our experts, including an ACT-certified consultant, support you in building a credible trajectory.

Why is real data preferable to average emission factors?

An average factor can underestimate the emissions of a poorly used vehicle, for instance a plug-in hybrid that is rarely charged. Measuring real consumption, vehicle by vehicle, makes the reporting reliable and more robust under scrutiny.

Is my company covered by the CSRD in 2026?

With the Omnibus package, the obligation is refocused on companies with more than 1,000 employees and more than €450 million in net revenue, and the timeline for the other waves has been postponed. Even outside the obligation, measuring your emissions remains a management asset, and large clients increasingly ask their suppliers for emissions data to feed their own Scope 3.
