“I’d like to personally congratulate you on your company’s results: you have obtained the triple gold medal for the third consecutive year!”

After becoming the first company in the world to obtain triple gold status in the UN’s Climate Neutral Now initiative, we’re now exceptionally proud to have won it for the third year in the row.

The UN’s Climate Neutral Now initiative

Climate Neutral Now, a campaign launched in 2015, aims to “encourage all citizens to act now to help achieve the objective of a climate-neutral world by 2050, as enshrined in the Paris Agreement”.

The label is meant to honour companies tackling their CO₂ emissions.

It’s awarded on the basis of three factors:

• Does the company measure its CO₂ emissions? Are those emissions self-declared or verified by a third party?
• Is the company reducing its CO₂ emissions by at least 5% annually? Or by more than that?
• Does the company offset its residual emissions? All of those emissions or just a portion?

Based on its efforts to conduct each of those three steps, the company can obtain a gold, silver or bronze “Climate neutral Now” label:

Every day, WeNow helps our customers reduce their carbon impact. So it seemed obvious that we should also work on our own company footprint.
